What is N-mark?

The N-mark is a certification mark issued by NEMKO, one of the biggest testing and certification organizations based in Norway. NEMKO offers:

It offers its services worldwide in more than 150 countries.

N-mark is used for electrical products sold in Norway and the European Union. N-mark is used to show compliance with European safety and EMC standards. You may affix N-mark on products such as:

If a product has an N-mark affixed, It signifies that a product has undergone testing and meets specific safety, quality, and performance standards.

  1. Product testing: submit your product to NEMKO or an accredited testing laboratory for evaluation.
  2. Documentation review, including product specifications, test reports, and quality management system documentation.
  3. Factory inspection (if required).
  4. N-mark certification issuance and affixing label to products.
