Multimodal is the most important event in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe’s of freight transport, logistics and supply chain management.
Multimodal UK represents every logistics sector. Whether you are a shipping line, logistics provider, port or warehouse owner, the event offers an opportunity to make a face to face contact with new companies. For thirteen years, shippers, forwarders, importers, exporters, including cargo owners attend this event to improve their business especially by finding ways of moving their products more efficiently and by meeting new suppliers.

Multimodal UK 2019
Many events take place in these types of meetings. These are, for example, conferences, discussion panels, or lectures. During the three-day meetings, the program was varied, and other issues were raised. Multimodal UK 2019 began with a discussion that aimed to provide answers to the questions: why is the logistics industry vulnerable to disruption? What will the future look like? What is more, they were talking about the crisis in the industry, due to Brexit, and looking for solutions.
During the second day of the event, among others, the subject of the Far East was discussed as a new and increasingly attractive direction. The topic of Brexit was discussed more extensively. The last day of Multimodal UK 2019 focused on attracting, retaining, and developing talent in transport, logistics, and supply chain. Interestingly, the event welcomes dedicated students from local schools to take part in an interactive seminar.
Multimodal UK 2021
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Multimodal UK that was to be held in 2020 didn’t occur. However, it was postponed to October 2021. The upcoming edition of the fair will consider further logistics industry problems and seek even better solutions. The revamped conference program will feature seminars that reflect shipper interests. Organizers will also be introducing a bespoke match-making service to connect shippers, VIP visitors, and exhibitors. Furthermore, the event will feature two networking events: The Multimodal Awards and The Multimodal Mixer.
Multimodal UK 2021 will be taking place from 19th to 21st of October 2021. Opening time:
- Tuesday 19th of October 10:00 – 17:00,
- Wednesday 20th of October 10:00 – 19:00,
- Thursday 21st of October 10:00 – 15:00.
